Margaret Gibney

Carrintubber, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and formerly from Dererin, Killawalla, Co. Mayo – passed away peacefully, in the tender loving care of the staff of Central Park Nursing Home, Clonberne on June 26th 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Joe, parents Thomas and Catherine, sisters Mary, Bridie and Kathleen, brothers Johny and Mike.

Her spirit, gentleness and kindness will be greatly missed by her son Tom, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Divilly’s Funeral Home, Glenamaddy (F45EF60) on Saturday evening, June 27^th from 6.30pm with removal to St. Josephs Church Kilkerrin (H53Y326) at 8pm.

Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Sunday, June 28th at 11am with burial afterwards to Kilkerrin cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live-streamed on Coneran Funeral Directors Facebook page.
