Curragh, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Fahy, Westport (6th May 2025) – peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her dearly, after a short illness, fought with dignity and courage.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John and her brothers Michael-Thomas, Josie and Padraig.
She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken children Tom, John, Carmel, Breda, Miriam and Sorcha, her adored grandchildren, Sara, John, Jack, Aoibhinn and Roisin, sister Breege (Costello, Ballinrobe) and Mary (Cordall, UK), sons-in-law Bosco (Mullarkey), Allan (Hose) and Michael (Cusack), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.
May her gentle Soul rest in peace.
Margaret will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Thursday (8th May) from 5pm with removal at 7pm to her residence, Curragh, Castlebar.
Removal from her residence on Friday morning at 10.15a.m for Requiem Mass at 11.30a.m in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
Margaret will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
