Linda Hughes née Weisz

Linda-Hughes

Castlebar and formerly of Westport, Co. Mayo and America – passed away suddenly on the 23rd of January 2025 along with her beloved dog Token.

Predeceased by her husband Henry “Junior” Hughes and brother Peter Weisz.

Deeply missed by her heartbroken daughter Catherine, sisters Barbara and Nancy, aunt Mary, sister-in- law Nuala , nieces, nephews and all whose lives she touched.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 22nd of March at 11a.m in St. Mary’s Church, Westport, Co. Mayo, followed by a scattering of ashes ceremony afterwards.

Linda was a great and very smart woman, and one who had a great deal of energy. She traveled from California to Washington State where she worked in IT for years, then went to England and from there to Ireland where she met and married her husband, eventually giving birth to her beloved daughter, Cat. Her spirit is still alive and waiting for a new body to incarnate in. She will not have to wait much longer. She will enjoy ecstasy in her coming life.
