Kiltybranks, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and Queens, New York – (died November 7th, 2025, aged 91 years) – peacefully, with his family and friends by his side in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Galway University Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Anne, son Andrew, brothers William, Thomas, Vincent and his sisters Maureen and Eileen.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter Patricia, son Michael, grandchildren Jack, Maddie, Gavin and Olivia, daughters-in-law Kellie and Gina, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
Leo will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Thursday (Nov 13th) from 5pm until 7pm.
Removal from his home on Friday at 10.30am to Christ the King Church, Lisacul (via Crennane) arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by interment in Lisacul cemetery.
House private please.
