Cahir, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo – peacefully, in the exceptional and wonderful care of the nurses and staff of St. Attracta’s Residence, Charlestown, with her family by her side on January 1st 2026.
Predeceased by her loving husband Owen, parents Jim and Mary Scott (Scott’s Bakery), brothers Jimmy and Paddy and her daughter-in-law Alisha.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Owen (Cahir) and Michael and his partner Michelle (Celbridge), grandchildren Iarlaith and Fiad and Alice and Freya, sister Maureen Lacey (Castlebar), brother-in-law Michael, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Kitty will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Sunday (Jan. 4th) from 5:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick’s Church, Louisburgh.
Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Killeen (New) Cemetery (via Cahir).
