Oak Grove, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloonsuck, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – February 2nd, 2026 (peacefully) at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Joseph, his brothers, Michael, James, Leo, PJ, and Norman, and his sister Maureen.

Kevin will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons and daughters; Barry, Lorraine, Siobhan and Michaeland their mother Bernie, his grandchildren; Harley, Caoimhín, Esmé and Winnie. Also, by his brother Brendan, daughter-in-law Emma, Michael’s fiancée Charlotte, his sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Kevin will repose at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal afterwards to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen.

Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Friday morning at 11 o’clock with internment afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery

I was very fond of Kevin. What a lovely man , His paradise was the highways and byways of the parish, he so enjoyed the freedom and peace of his daily walk, before most of us had even awoken. He enjoyed a quiet chat , a man of few words, what a pleasure it was to know him. RIP Kevin .
