The Demesne, Loughglynn and formerly of Aughurine, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon – December 17th 2025 – peacefully, in her 97th, year  with her family by her side in the exceptional care of Eithne and her staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen.

Predeceased by his husband Mick, her son, Michael and her grandchildren Catherine and Jonathan.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Maureen, Catherine, and Assumpta, son John-Joe, grandchildren Ciaran, Grania, Claire, Michael, Fiona, John, Mark, Timmy and David, her thirteen great-grandchildren , sons-in-law Michael Mulligan,  Michael O’ Brien and Martin Mangan, daughter-in-law Nora, sister-in-law Dell, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Kathleen will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Loughglynn on Friday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock with removal to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Loughglynn arriving at 8.30.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 2 o’clock followed by interment in Cuiltyboe Cemetery.
