I was so very sorry on learning of the death of Josie Mongan.
Josie was a most beautiful lady, always so friendly and extremely nice, very helpful when making purchases at the lovely shoe shop where Josie worked for many years in Hynes, Castlebar.
I have great memories of Josie and her sisters growing up in Esker, where Josie was practically our neighbour.
Josie along with her sisters were always so elegant, beautiful, smart, moreover ever so stylish, walking was a great passion of Josies in her younger years, where she walked with style. Just four amazing ladies were the Mongan Sisters.
We send our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Josie’s family. To her sisters Bridie and Sheila on the death of Josie, to all of her nephews, nieces and to all of the extended McDonagh and Coughlan family, neighbours and friends, on the death of dear Josie.

Josie was such a lovely ,kind ,warm ,smiling person. I loved meeting her. All the Morgan women were hugely welcome to our home in Co meath. The reason being is that they lit up the house with laughter and brought sunshine. When they left we missed them. Josie loved coming up for mayo playing in croke park.
Kathleen was a lovely person who we stayed with in Boston in 1991. Sheila and Bridie are equally lovely , four adorable ladies.
