Levenshulme, Manchester, U.K. and formerly of Shore Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and Cross, Killadoon, Louisburgh (May 16th, 2025) –peacefully at home in the loving care of his family.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Kathleen (née Coyne, Cross, Louisburgh), nephews Michael & Mark, niece Karen, brothers-in-law Michael & Nathan, sister-in-law Mary, cousins, extended Tunney & Coyne families, and a wide circle of friends.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Roseanne, sisters Bridget-Mary, Josephine, & Kathleen.

John will be received into the Church of St. Mary of the Angels and St. Clare, Elbow St., Levenshulme, M19 3PY on Thursday, May 29th for 7:00pm Mass of the Resurrection.
John will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Friday, May 30th from 6:00pm, concluding at 7:30pm with Vigil Prayers, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen.
Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:30am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
