John Togher (better known as John William),
Drumreagh, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully, at Belmullet Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 7th September 2024.
Predeceased by his parents William and Mary Togher, brothers Willie and James and sisters Cattie, Maggie, Mary, Bridie and Sarah.
Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of John James, P.J., Mark and Aidan.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his adored daughter in law Vera and John’s son’s partners, cherished grandchildren Ian, Aaron, Emily, Kate, Sean and Liam, great-grandchildren Ellie, Noah, Rosie, Ava and Donnacha, sisters Annie Wilson (Drum, Clogher, Belmullet), Agnes Walsh (Cartron, Clogher, Belmullet), Lena Staunton (Carramore, Barnatra) and Ellen (Australia), brother Michael (Australia), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren’s partners, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown at 8.30.
Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cross cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the “Patient’s Comfort Fund at the Belmullet Community Hospital”.
