Died peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff of Galway University Hospital in his 92nd year on Saturday August 29th 2026.
Pre-deceased by his parents John and Winifred, sisters Mary Smyth and Ellen Stephens and nephew JJ Smyth.
Sadly missed by his sisters Rose Reilly (Boston USA), Teresa Ronayne (Boston USA), Margaret Mannion (Castleplunkett), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clonberne Community Centre (H53 W3W2) on Tuesday September 1st from 6.30pm with removal to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (H53XC89) at 8pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 2nd at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Creggs Road Cemetery, Glenamaddy.
