Foxpoint, Barnatra, Ballina, Co. Mayo – peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family on 5th March 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, sister Kathleen and brother Pat.
John will be sadly missed and always remembered by his heartbroken wife Mary, daughters Geraldine, Christina, Joanna and Madalen, sons Johnny, Christopher and Jason, sisters Bridie Tighe (Ballycastle) and Mary, sons-in-law Graham, Alan, Gary and Raymond, daughters-in-law Vanessa, Sharon and Jennifer, sister-in-law Barbara (England), his 22 adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, his kind and caring neighbours and many friends.

Remains will repose at Healy’s Funeral Home, Barnatra (F26 DY62) on Saturday, 7th March from 4pm until 6pm.
Funeral Cortege will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle (F26 DN83) on Monday, 9th March for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in Glencastle New Cemetery.
