Greenland House, Ballyglass, Williamstown, County Galway (Wednesday, 7th January 2026) – peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe in the presence of his loving family.
Predeceased by his father Patrick, mother Mary, brothers Tom, Patrick and William, and his sister Margaret.
Beloved husband of Veronica and much loved father of Helena, Marie, Paraic, Linda, Fiona and Michéal. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partner, Brendan, David, Aoife, Barry and Sarah, his cherished grandchildren Darragh, Ciarán, Cillian, Harry, Jack, Conor, Ethan, Eva, Niall, Lucy and Cian, his brothers and sisters Bea, Fr. Michael, Mary, Ceila, Ann, Stephen, Vincent, Eileen, Kay, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe (Eircode F45 DN79) on Friday, 9th January from 4.30pm until 7.00pm.
Arriving for Funeral Mass in St. Croan’s Church, Ballymoe at 11.00 am on Saturday 10th January followed by burial afterwards in Kilcroan cemetery.
