John (Johnny) Monaghan,

Stonefield, Carrowteige, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of London; Belmullet and late of Sonas Nursing Home, Belmullet – at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on Wednesday, 11th September 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Martin & Bridget, sisters Mary, Sally and Bridget, brothers Paddy, Murty, Micky and Tony.

Johnny will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters Kathleen Caffrey (Belmullet), Margaret Barrett (Birmingham) and brother Vincent (Chicago), his many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. 

May Johnny’s Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Remains reposing at Healy’s Funeral Home, Bar na Trá (F26 DY62) on Saturday, 14th September from 4.30pm until 6pm, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Carrowteige (F26 E2P4) at 7pm. 

Funeral Mass on Sunday, 15th September at 12 noon. 

Burial afterwards in Kilgalligan Cemetery.
