John James Durkin

Windsor Ontario Canada and formerly of Ballincurry Curry Co. Sligo.

John passed away peacefully after a short illness in Windsor Hospital Canada
on May 19th 2025.

Predeceased by his parents, Frances and Peter, his brother Peter and nephew Rónan Duffy.

Beloved brother of Bernard – London, Frances – Ballincurry, Una Duffy – Rooskey.

Deeply missed by his nieces Caoimhe and Órlaith Duffy, nephews Ciarán, Brian, Kevin, Gerard, Stephen, John Paul and Peter, brother-in-law Gerry Duffy, sisters-in-law Ann and Elsa, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins,friends, work colleagues and his wonderful neighbours in Windsor.

May John’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass on Monday 21st July at 12 midday in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry F91 E229. Burial of ashes afterwards in Bunnacrannagh Cemetery.
