Hampshire, London – passed away at home unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday 16th May 2025.
Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Tom and Eileen Gorman.
John will be forever loved and deeply missed by his sisters Margaret Sweeny (Castlerea) and Caroline Gorman (London) and lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Michael Sweeny, his nephew Michael & wife Rachel (Chelmsford) and niece Laura & fiancé Sean (Castlerea), his grandnephew Cillian and grandniece Ada.
Also, dearly loved by his aunts Mary Joe, Teresa , Nuala, Rita, his uncle Pat, his much-loved cousins, extended family and lifelong friends in the UK and Ireland.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
John will repose at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Sunday, 15th June from 4pm until 5.30pm.
Private removal from the home of his sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Michael Sweeny on Monday, 16th June arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for John’s Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in Ballintubber cemetery.
