John Clinton

Milnrow, Manchester – April 2nd 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Mary (née McHugh), parents Jane and Terry, sisters Patricia, Barbara, Julia and Frances, brother Martin.

Sadly missed by his son Sean (Sheffield), daughter Lisa (London), daughter-in-law Kristen, grandchildren Michael, Emily, Jack and Thomas, sister Margaret (Cheadle), brother David (Bolton), nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

John’s remains will arrive to St Joseph’s Church Ballindine on Saturday April 26th for Funeral mass at 10am.

Burial afterwards in Ballindine new cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on Kilvine parish Facebook page.

John taught me at St Anne’s Primary school Stretford Manchester in the 1960s and we discovered a link through family in Brickens . He was a dedicated and inspirational teacher with imagination . I was fortunate to be one of his pupils and have a lot to thank him for. RIP.
