Buckhill, Fairymount, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – peacefully with his family by his side in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of The Roscommon Hospice.
(September 2nd, 1945 – June 10th, 2025)
Predeceased by his parents Tom and Bridget and his brother, Eamonn.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Mary, sons John and Joseph, grandchildren Rebecca, Melissa, Nathan, J.J., Joshua and Erin, Joseph’s partner, Emma, sisters-in-law Ellie (Cunningham) and Margaret (Neary), his extended family, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
John will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Thursday evening from 5pm.
Removal at 7.15pm to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount arriving at 8pm (via Buckhill).
Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11.30am followed by interment in Fairymount (old) Cemetery.
