We convey our deepest sympathies to Josie, James, Paul, Byrne and extended families on the death of Jack. He was my first opponent at a Boxing tournament on 12th. December 1966 in Swinford Town Hall, then he moved to England and we lost touch, I often spoke about him, with the help of Michael Commons we met in Westport in 2011, it was wonderful to see him and reminisce about old times, he said he always kept up with Boxing news from the local papers. We spoke on the phone on occasions after that. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers this sad time. Jack may the light of Heaven shine upon your kind and gentle Soul.
