It is with great sadness that I received the news of John’s passing. I can vividly recall 50 years of indelible happy memories anytime that I visited the Booth family. There was always a warm welcome with gracious and generous hospitality from deceased parents,Willie and Matilda and over the years it made a natural progression with John and Tom.
I extend my sincere sympathy to Tom, Dinah, Ruby, Georgina and extended family members. John was certainly one of life’s true gentlemen and it has been my privilege to have befriended him and Tom for so many years.
