Sincere sympathy to the Mullarkey & Clarke families on Joe’s death. A great Stephenite supporter who always visited us in the clubhouse when back in Ballina.y He also looked after us so well when the Stephenites visited Hartford in 1980. May his generous soul Rest in Peace.

It was always a pleasure to spend time in his and Mary’s company on the many trips to Mayo & on our trips to the US. Joe loved his Mayo/Clare roots and was wonderful at maintaining those connections. Sincere condolences to the Mullarkey Family on Joe’s passing. We had some great days and nights in his company with Dad, Willie, on his regular visits home to Ballina. It was amazing and wonderful how their friendship endured oceans and years. The stories and fun never got old. Rest in peace Joe.

For his lifetime he remained a wonderful supporter of Ballina Stephenites GAA Club who always enjoyed his many visits to the Clubhouse on his frequent visits home. He will be greatly missed .
