Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut, USA and formerly of 28 Morrison Terrace, Ballina, Co. Mayo – peacefully on the 16th February, 2025, in Hartford Connecticut.

Predeceased by his wife Mary, son James, sisters Maureen, Peggy and brother Sean.

Joe will be sadly missed by his family and friends in the USA and Ballina, Co. Mayo.

May he rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to the Mullarkey & Clarke families on Joe’s death. A great Stephenite supporter who always visited us in the clubhouse when back in Ballina.y He also looked after us so well when the Stephenites visited Hartford in 1980. May his generous soul Rest in Peace.

Sincere sympathy to Peggy Anne, Edward, Mark & all the Mullarkey family on the death of your beloved Dad. It was always a pleasure to spend time in his and Mary’s company on the many trips to Mayo & on our trips to the US. Joe loved his Mayo/Clare roots and was wonderful at maintaining those connections. Sincere sympathy to the Mullarkey family at Hartford, Connecticut on the sad death of Joe. Joe was a highly successful gentleman that never forgot his roots. For his lifetime he remained a wonderful supporter of Ballina Stephenites GAA Club who always enjoyed his many visits to the Clubhouse on his frequent visits home. He will be greatly missed .
