Peacefully, at home with his family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Elizabeth, his sister Betty and baby James McTague.
Joe will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, wife Mary, sons Marty and Ger (Castlerea), daughters Sandra (Elphin), Maura (Roscommon) and Fiona (Ballinlough), grandchildren Daniel, Keevan, Hannah, Molly, Oisin, Amelia, Ellie, Jack, Noah, Saoirse, Emily and Sam, brother PJ, (Castlerea) and sister Mary Forde (Cummer). Sons-in-law Seamus McTague, Dougie Doolan and Declan McDermott, daughter-in-law Elaine, and Ger’s partner Nuala. Also, by his mother-in-law Bridget Lyons, brothers-in-law Peter, Pat, John, Tom and Gerry, sisters in law Margaret and Maggie, nephews, nieces, cousins especially Martin, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joe will repose at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Monday from 4pm until 7pm.
Removal from his home on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by private cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.
Joe’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam.
