Joan Watters née McLoughlin (also known as Jackie)

Cregaree, Cong, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cross East and Dublin, 22nd December 2025 – passed away peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Eugene, sister and 7 brothers.

Jackie will be sadly missed by her daughters Rebecca and Rachel, grandchildren Kyra, Tara, Amy, Andrew and Olivia, sons-in-law Frinde and Val, Olivia’s fiancée Darragh, nephews Gordon, Frances, Eugene, Eamonn and Dermot, nieces Sally & Ann, grand nephews, grand nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Cong on Saturday, 27th December at 11am with removal to Shannon Crematorium on Monday.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the help and support they have received at this difficult time, to St Brendan’s Nursing Home, Loughrea and the wonderful carers at Family Carers Ireland.
