Tallagh Hill, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday 14th March 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Agnes & Patsy Tighe, baby son John, brother Michael John, sister Alice and nephew William Lindsay.

JJ will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Vera, daughters Rosaleen, Josephine and her husband Lawrence, Loretta and her partner Michéal, sisters Mary Agnes Lindsay (London), Ann Barrett (Killala), brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren Jonea and Rhea and their dad Pat, Charley, Niall and Megan, nieces, nephews, relatives friends and neighbours.

May JJ’s Kind & Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Remains will be reposing at his home (F26 E894) on Sunday (16th March) from 3.30pm until 6pm and on Monday (17th March) from 3.30pm until 6pm.

Funeral cortege will arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Belmullet (F26 WT78) on Tuesday (18th March) for Mass at 12noon, with burial afterwards in Glencastle New Cemetery.
