James (Jimmy) Tierney

Ballinamona, Carnageehy, Milltown, Co Galway – peacefully in his 95th year at Mayo University Hospital Castlebar on July 26th 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and May, brother Jack, sisters Sr. Leonie, Sr. Alphonsus, Sr. Teresa.

Sadly missed and very fondly remembered by his brother Tom (London), nieces Maureen (Irishtown), Una (Longford), Teresa (Perth W.A), Kathryn (Brussels), nephew Tomás (Westport), grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives neighbours and friends.

May his Kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Carey’s Funeral Home, Ballindine, F12 A3C6 on Tuesday evening, 29th July from 6.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St Joseph’s Church, Milltown.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, July 30th at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Kilclooney Cemetery

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Milltown Church TV https://www.churchtv.ie
