James (Jimmy) Durkan

Deepest condolences to all the Durkan family on the very sad passing of Jimmy. Jimmy was a great friend and a great neighbour when he lived on our road.

To Alan, Sharon, children and grandchildren I offer my sincere condolences on the death of your Dad, grandad and great grandad Jimmy. He was a true and lifelong friend to myself and my family. I will always remember and be grateful for the wonderful times spent with Jimmy and his late wife Kathleen in London and here in Swinford. Many laughs were had and stories shared in a house where nothing was ever too much trouble. Rest in peace Jimmy with Kathleen and Sandra.

Glad my Grandad got a mention on his favourite radio station! He is deeply missed and will be remembered for his smile and great humour. Hope he’s reunited with my Mum and Nanny Kay. Rest in Peace Grandad ❤️

Fond memories of when he and Kathleen used to come home to Kilbride and he and dad over and back the road having the chats , catch ups and lots of laughs. Rest in peace Jimmy.
