James passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his daughter Nicola Kingcombe in January 2020 and his parents Johnny and Katie (née Reddington).
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted wife Breege (née Tunney) and his loving sons James and his wife Edwina, Ronan (New York), Kieran and his partner Theresa, his daughters Sharon and her husband Johan Collins, Leona and her partner Ciaran and his son- in- law Lee Kingcombe, his adored grandchildren Zara, Zac, Poppy, Leah, Aoibhinn, Ivy-May, Ally and Rian, his sister Mary Kelly (Straide) and his brothers Sean (Dublin), Joseph (Ballina), Thomas(Straide), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Jim was well known and highly respected in Castlebar. He worked for Chadwicks in Castlebar for many years. He was also a well known taxi operator and he had many loyal customers down the years.
Jim will repose in St. Aidan’s Room adjoining St. Patrick’s Church, Islandeady on Monday, 8th June from 5.30pm with prayers at 7.00pm.
The Funeral will arrive at Islandeady Church on Tuesday, 9th June at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am.
Afterwards Jim will be laid to rest beside his beloved daughter in Islandeady cemetery.
