Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Ross, Killala, Co. Mayo.

Died January 23^rd 2026

Predeceased by her son Michael, husbands Michael Beirne and John Joe Keane, brothers Eamon and Tommy and her sisters Dolores and Eileen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter Anna Marie, grandchildren John, Ryan, Michael Patrick and Crystal, great-grandchildren, Séan, Odhrán, Skyla and Brodie, son-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Bridgie, Phil and Mary and John Joe’s family.

May She Rest In Peace.

Ita will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal to St. Asicus Church, Frenchpark arriving at 7:30pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 11:30am followed by interment in Cloonshanville cemetery.

Ita’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Sharkey Funeral Directors Facebook page.

Family flowers only please. Donations in Ita’s memory can be made to the Mayo/ Roscommon Hospice Palliative Care Team.
