Helen (also known as Nell) Gaughan nee Gray

Clonberne, Co. Galway and formerly of Knockatallon, Co. Monaghan and Tottenham, London.

Helen passed away peacefully in her 86th year in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Central Park Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Martin Gaughan and dear mother of Cathy Rabbitte (Clonberne), Caroline Murray (Roy, Dunmore), Fiona Gaughan (London), Martin Gaughan (London) and Peter Gaughan (Los Angeles), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Helen will repose at Clonberne Community Centre on Saturday, 31st of January 2026 from 5.00pm until 7.00pm followed by removal to her residence in Clonberne, family only.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm burial afterwards in Clonberne cemetery.

Family flowers only.

Donations if desired may be made as an act of kindness to another, in remembrance of Helen.
