Predeceased by her beloved husband Vladimir Osipov, her dear sister Larisa and her adored grandson Mark
She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her loving daughter Olga (Castlebar), her son Yuriy and daughter-in-law Olya (Belarus), her cherished grandchildren Ilonochka and her partner Hervé, Alenochka and Sashulya and her great-grandchildren Ruslanchyk, Alisochka and Anyutochka ; and her youngest sister Iryna.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Halyna will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90, on Sunday 28th September 2025 from 12 noon, concluding with prayers at 1.20pm.
Removal immediately afterwards to Shannon Crematorium, arriving for Service at 4pm.

We love our Mam and Granny – Halyna. Her death was unexpected for us and we will miss her as she was a gentle soul and loving Mother, Granny, wonderful friend and a dear member of the communities in both Ukraine and Ireland. She was very inspirational as her outlook on life entailed positivity, kindness and care for others. She loved kids and would sit in the playground in Lios na Circe watching them play. She missed her dog, Bulka that was still in Ukraine and she always patted the animals passing by here in Ireland. She did her outmost best to raise two children, me – Olga, and Yuriy ( who lives with his family in Belarus). She shared her parenthood with her beloved husband, Vladimir. Both of them provided caring and nurturing environment for us to thrive and to be able to achieve our potentials. She adored her grandchildren Ilonochka, Marchyk, Alenochka and Sashulya. She was always delighted to chat on the video call to her great-grandchildren Ruslanchyk, Anyutochka and Alisochka. She also met Sasha, a grandchild of her beloved younger sister, Larisa. Sasha visited us in Ireland after escaping the war in Ukraine. Her youngest sister, Iryna still lives in Ukraine.
We also remember our mother and granny cooking and baking with deep passion for us. Her Ukrainian recipes of mashed potato and apple pie have been also gently accepted and loved by our friends in Ireland.
Her smile was a reflection of her gentle soul that would warm our hearts as we will dearly miss it.
As we mourn our beloved Mother and Granny early departure, we carry forward her best qualities, honouring her kind nature – an enduring reminder of the goodness that lives in all of us.
As her daughter I promise that the kindness and caring nature that were instilled in me by my mother will live on through my love to my family, friends, colleagues and the wider community.
