Deepest condolences to all Grettas family who loved her so much and were such a huge part of her life. Being in your home this evening, brought me back to the lovely times I spent working in the P.O with Mrs Donohoe and Mary Ruddy and all the chats and laughs we had together. Such a warm and welcoming place for a teenager to work, the two ladies showed me the ropes and were so patient with me. The people of Killala were blessed to have such a wonderful Postmistress, who had a kind word for young and old. I’m sure she is happily reunited with her beloved Joe in heaven now.

Maura and Siobhan, so sorry to hear of your Mum’s passing. May her Soul rest in eternal Peace.
