Gerry Currid

Cartrontaylor, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo and formerly of Charlestown, Co. Mayo and London – died 11th February, 2026 – peacefully at home, in the loving care of his wife Eileen.

Predeceased by his father Bernard and mother Alice.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, brothers John, Brian and Patrick, aunt Peggy, brothers-in-law Brendan, Francis, John, Declan and Dermot, sisters-in-law Rose and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91 AKW5) on Friday evening 13th February from 6 o’clock until 7.30.

Funeral will arrive to St. Theresa’s Church, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo on Saturday morning, 14th February at 11 o’clock for Requiem Mass with the funeral proceeding to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass, Co. Sligo for burial.
