Fredrick (Fred) Cornwall

Clooninsla, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon (January 22nd, 2026) – peacefully at Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents, his brothers Edward, Richard, George, Archie and Cyril.

Loving brother of May (Glover, Ballymoe), Douglas (Ballinlough), Christopher (UK), Violet (Jenkinson, UK) and Lucy (Woolley, UK).

Fred will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law Brian and Dave, sister-in-law Brenda, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Saturday evening from 4:30 until 6 o’clock.

Removal from McDonagh’s Funeral Home on Sunday morning to Kiltullagh Church, Ballinlough for Funeral Service at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
