A kind and beautiful soul. As a young leaving cert student he took my twin and gave us grinds ( FOC) to help us pass Irish in our exams. I can’t remember how many there were but enough for us to do well. I will never forget that kindness. I regret not getting to send him a card in his illness. I did not expect he would be taken so soon. He was a gentleman and a scholar. It was a pleasure to know Francis. RIP
