Paraic has great memories of Fintan growing up in Spencer street when Fintan was a young man with your dad and mam who adored him.
I have great memories of my time working with him in the Sycamores . Fintan always made your day a better one and brought a smile to your face. He enriched the lives of those who knew him and it was a blessing to have known him. Great memories with Fintan representing Aras and Connacht at the Special Olympics National Games and bringing back a gold medal he was so proud of, also for all his acting skills keeping everyone entertained. ‘Same again’ he shouted to Pat Moran. No money in his pocket.
Then the day he ‘gave Marion away’ in marriage to Finbar, and he was such a proud man that day. Putting his hand up to the crowd in the church as if he was a celebrity.
