Cloonchambers, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Nottingham, England and Loughboy, Kilkenny – 4th September 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.
Nell will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Eddie, children Margaret (Colson, Loughglynn), Bernadette (Cloonchambers), Angela (Zannetou, Nottingham), Andrew (Kilkenny), Helen (Daley, Nottingham) and Anthony (Sligo), sisters Myra (Costello, Kilkenny), Doly (Kelly, Kilkenny) and Stella (O’Rourke, Kilkenny), brothers Denis (Kilkenny) and Billy (Harrow, England), grandchildren Katie, Meghan, Robert, Chris, Aaron, Harrison, Eddie, Joseph, Ellen, Rhiannon, Evie, Larry, Íarainn and Faolán, sons-in-law Phil, Kyriacos and Ben, daughter-in-law Julie and Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7 o’clock.
Nell’s funeral will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown, Kilkenny (R95 A891) for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Monday.
Burial afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery.
