I grew up next door to her, and she was always so generous giving us lifts to school and spoiling us with sneaky treats. In more recent years, I’d sometimes pop in for a chat when I was home, and she was always in good spirits, full of laughs and advice. Rest in peace, Betty!

Condolences to Betty’s family on her passing. I was grateful to have Betty babysit me during my early childhood. She also did many school collections & drop offs. Always exceptionally nice to me and my siblings , bringing us gifts, chocolate or ginger nut biscuits! I will remember her beaming smile and generosity. She will be missed, RIP Betty!
