Edel Beisty nee Knight,
Hyde Court, Roscommon Town and formerly of Ballina, Co Mayo.
Beloved wife of Paul and deeply loved mother of Eva, Ellen and Tom.
Edel passed away on October 13th, 2024, after a long illness borne with great dignity and courage, in the presence of her beloved family and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice.
Edel is predeceased by her parents Gerald and Tess and her sisters Kitty and Marie.
Edel is deeply mourned by her heartbroken family, brothers Gerry and Tommy, sisters Breege, Assumpta, Josephine and Pauline, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Removal from her home on Wednesday morning at 10.20 arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in St. Coman’s Cemetery.
