I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Wasif’s passing.

I have known him since childhood, and the memories I have of him are truly priceless. He was one of the kindest, most humble, and down-to-earth people I have ever known. He always treated everyone with warmth, respect, and genuine care, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His kindness and gentle nature will never be forgotten. I will always cherish the memories we shared and feel grateful to have known such a wonderful person.

My heartfelt condolences to Abdullah, Nomeeta, Maheen, Zaina, and the entire family during this difficult time. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength and comfort to all those who mourn his loss.

Its with great sadness that I heard of Dr Abassi’s death, RIP I worked with him in AMH and it was always a pleasure as he was so kind and attentive to his patients and to staff alike. Dr Abassi had a great sense of humour, that gift made any kind of work easier to deal with. I was very ill in MGH some time ago and he put his head round the door to say hello and to reassure me, it made that day a better day. To you Abdullah Nomeeta and Maheen , my sincere sympathy to you all and to your mam and dad’s extended families you will miss him, may God comfort you at this sad time in your lives.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr Abbassi fifteen years ago in Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar. I will forever remember his kindness, compassion, intelligence, and deep human understanding of people and their connections to others. His gentleness and humanity were healing. What a wonderful human being whose quality of presence was reparative and will continue to provide repair in those lucky enough to have been met by it. He was also friendly and light of spirit. It is with deep sadness that I learned of Dr.Abbasi’s passing and I wish to express my sincere sympathy to his son, daughters, granddaughter and extended family members. During my years in Community Welfare with the HSE I had to liaise with Dr. Abbasi. He was not only a professional colleague but also a loyal friend and a true gentleman. Dr. Abbasi’s levels of sympathy, empathy and kindness were unprecedented. He was extremely affable and enjoyed the Irish sense of humour. He always referred to me as” My Connemara brother”.
