A profound sadness has understandably developed over the Partry community following the sudden and heartbreaking death of Donal. His infectious willingness to help everyone was always evident, brightening every interaction with his signature smile. He famously gave his time and knowledge so freely to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and was always “up for the craic.”His solemn salute, which he rendered without fail each time, was always evident as he passed our house. While a true gentleman has been suddenly taken from our parish, the warmth of his spirit and generosity will remain ingrained in our hearts, and he will be sorely missed.
