Dan O’Rourke,
Sea Breeze, Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly of Ballindrimley, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon (Monday, June 15th, 2026) – unexpectedly but peacefully, at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and carers in his 58th year.
Predeceased by his father, Brian.
Loving son of Lily and brother of Gráinne (Dublin) and Brian Óg (Kiltoom).
Dan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, sister and brother, his nephew Ultan and niece Doireann, sister-in-law Jacinta, brother-in-law Joe, extended family and the residents and staff of Sea Breeze, and the Brothers of Charity Services Galway.

Dan will repose at his home in Sea Breeze, Knocknacarra, (H91 T2K6) this evening (Tuesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
A celebration of Dan’s life will take place at his home on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea arriving at approximately 2.30pm.
