Colm Keely

Caulfields Lane, Castlerea and Martry, Elphin, Co. Roscommon (December 8th 2025) – peacefully after a short illness bravely borne at Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Colm, beloved brother of Geraldine, Joe, Vincent and Niall and beloved father of Jo, Jade and Martin.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, relatives, his large circle of wonderful friends and his best pal Buddy.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am followed by burial in Caldra Cemetery.

The funeral Mass can be viewed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam.

Colm’s family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in Mayo Roscommon Hospice, Castlebar, for the exceptional care Colm received throughout his time there.

To the keely family and friends and the wider community i met colm in 1989 at a fas course in Galway and we became friends i so sad that he is no longer with us haven’t met him since that time but it amazing how people meet for a few months and then we go our separate ways may he rest in eternal happiness forever
