Finchley, London, and formerly of Minna, Co. Galway – July 11th, 2025 – suddenly yet peacefully at home.
Cole was the beloved husband of Eileen Curran (nee Satchwell), formerly of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
Predeceased by his parents Márie and Máirtin, his wife Eileen, and his sisters Mary (Maym) O’Shaughnessy (Abington, USA) and Ann Flaherty (Dorchester, USA).
Cole was deeply cherished and will be forever missed by his late wife’s children Philip Webster, his wife Teresa and their family (Castlerea) and Georgina and her husband Michael Connelly (Castlerea), his brothers Paddy and Jimmy (Minna), his sisters Barbara (Minna), Bríd McDonagh and Winnie McDonagh (An Cheathrú Rua), also, by his sisters-in-law, Helen and Sarah (Minna), and Cathy and Noreen (London), his brothers-in-law, Coilín (An Cheathrú Rua) and Kevin (Castlerea), his nieces and nephews, and the extended Curran, Webster, McDonagh, and Satchwell families, as well as his many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Saturday evening from 4 pm until 5 pm.
Reposing at the home of his sister Barbara in Minna, Galway (H91 K06P) on Sunday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm.
Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea (F45 X671) on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
