Celia Kilgallon (née O’Toole),

Knowsley Village, Liverpool, UK and formerly of Corragaun, Thallabawn, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo. (May 9^th 1922 – December 21st 2024) – peacefully at Whiston Hospital, Liverpool in her 103^rd year, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John, daughter Maureen and son-in-law David.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters Eileen and Celia, son Sean, daughter-in-law Fay, sons-in-law Matt and Richard, grandchildren Myles, Seana, Olivia, Daniel and Georgia, ‘nanny’ to Yvonne and Julie, her nephews, nieces, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Celia will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Monday, January 20th from 5:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm.

Funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen on Tuesday at 11.40am for 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only.

Sorry to hear this news.Condolences to the Kilgallon & O’Toole families. I remember her from Fleadh Cheoil around England with her friend Mary Quirke adjudication singing and then in Killadoon hotel on holidays. Always a lovely smile to greet you. RIP Celia
