Catherine Smyth

Lissacarra, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway – unexpectedly, at her residence on July 30th 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Pete and Margaret.

Sadly missed by her loyal school friend Patricia Hogan, uncle Tommy Comer and his wife Kathleen (Birmingham), extended family, loyal neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Patricia’s residence (H53N977) on Saturday evening, August 2nd from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral cortège will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, (H53Y326) Kilkerrin on Sunday morning, August 3rd for 11am Mass. Cremation will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Monday, August 4th.

Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.6FM and live-streamed on http://www.facebook.com/Coneran_Funeral_Directors-101882841644404.

Sincere sympathies Patricia on the untimely passing of your true friend, Catherine. Sympathies also to uncle Tommy, extended family, neighbours, friends, and all who mourn her passing . May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace alongside her Mum and Dad as she sings with the angels.

I knew Catherine from howleys dunmore.i also knew her from.maddens.she was lovely lady.i had many chat with her.im so sorry to hear of her sudden passing. May she rest in peace.
