July 19th 2026: peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine is predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, sisters Miriam and Philomena, brothers James and Michael.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her sons Michael (Furrigal), Patrick (Limerick), her daughters Marina Burke (Kilkenny), Frances (Cortoor), Betty Farrelly (Dundalk), and Bernadette (Louisburgh), her sons in law Michael and Jimmy, her sisters Rita(Essex, England), Veronica (Massachussets, USA), Dolores (Massachusetts, USA), Geraldine (Kilmacrennan, Donegal), brothers Joseph (Harlow, England) and Shaun (Carrigart),her grandchildren Catherine, Séadna, Emmet, Elisha, Christian, Patrick, Aoife, Jacqueline and Jimmy, her great-grandson Páidí, neices, nephews, extended O’Grady & Boyce families, relations, neighbours and friends.

Catherine will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Tuesday (July 21st) from 6:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:30pm, followed by removal to the family home for private reposal.

Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Lecanvey at 11:00am for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.
