McNeela Terrace, The Quay, Westport

Died 16th July 2025 peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving care of Claremount nursing home Claremorris, in her 98th year.

Dearly loved sister of Pauline Dalton and much adored aunt of Fr. Ger Burns, Kathleen Burns, Mary Freeley, Nonie McGee, Padraig Burns and Michael Dalton. Carmel will be greatly missed by her grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing in Navin’s Funeral Home Westport on Friday evening 18th July from 5:30pm with removal at 6:30pm to St. Mary’s Church Westport.

Carmel’s Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday 19th July at 11am with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery.

For those unable to attend Mass on Saturday it can be viewed by clicking on the following link at 11am.
