Bridget (Bridie) Davin née Carthy

Brackloon, Shrule, Co. Mayo and formerly of Glenasmole, Bohernabreena, Co. Dublin on Wednesday the 11th of February 2026 – peacefully in University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her husband John, her parents Michael (Snr) and Elizabeth and her brothers Joe, John and Michael.

She will be sadly missed by her brother Tom, sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, as well as her wonderful carers, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Thursday evening, February 12th 2026 from 6 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal afterwards to St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning, February 13th at 11 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule. Burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

The mass will be live streamed on http://shruleglencorrib.com/webcam/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 F.M.
