Bridget (Betty) Knapp (née Kelly)

It is with deep love that we pray our goodbyes to Betty. Phil, PJ, Laura, Dana and I are greatly saddened by her loss, but we are also comforted in knowing that she is now with Jesus. Betty was such a beautiful soul; she was our friend on the journey and companion in ministry. You could feel the Lord‘s presence within her and the warm welcome she offered. When she entered a room, the room was filled with her joy and laughter. God bless you, Betty and Godspeed on your journey home. May you know that our love and prayers are always with you.

So sad to learn about the passing of our neighbor and dear friend Betty. We will miss your big smile and great stories. Your warm and comforting presence touched the lives of so many of us in the community. Our condolences to the Knapp and Kelly families. May you rest in peace Betty.

Betty will surely be missed in our community. She offered great comfort to me during my husband’s funeral mass.

So sad to hear of the passing of Betty, a truly kind and wonderful lady who was always so good to me during my years as President of the Mayo Society of New York.

Betty always had a big smile for everyone she met and showed her kindness and generosity through her work and partnership over the years with St. Sebastian’s Church and the annual Our Lady of Knock trip to East Durham.

Betty will be missed by all who knew her. RIP, Betty.
