Kiltevna, Dunmore, Co. Galway (August 26th, 2025).

Brian died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff in the Galway Hospice after a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents Tom & Tessie, his brother Sean & brother-in-law Tom Kenny.

Brian will be deeply missed by his sister Emer (Kenny), nephew Chris, niece Shauna, sister in law Chickie, extended McHugh & Brady family members & his exceptional neighbours & friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore, H54NY61 this Thursday, August 28th from 5pm with removal at 7pm to The Church Of Christ The King, Kiltevna, H54WD82.

Funeral Mass on Friday at  12 noon with burial afterwards in Kiltevna cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

My sincere sympathy to the Mc Hugh family on the sad passing of Brian. He was a classmate and friend in St Jarlaths 1969 to 1974. It was great to meet him again at the 50th class reunion in Tuam last September. May Brian rest in eternal peace.
